August 22, 2024, Salinas, CA: On Thursday morning, a woman was tragically killed in a pedestrian accident that took place in Salinas.
The accident, according to information provided by Kion 46 News Channel, took place in the early morning hours on Nashua Road around the area of Monte Road. A 23-year-old woman was crossing the street in the area when she was suddenly struck by the driver of a Chevy Suburban. The driver of the Chevy remained on scene following the crash.
Due to the severity of their injuries, the pedestrian was tragically pronounced dead on scene. Neither of the two people inside the Chevy were injured as a result of the crash.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident remains ongoing.
