August 13, 2024, Lodi, CA: On Tuesday morning, a four-vehicle accident with injuries took place on a bridge in Lodi.
According to information provided by Lodi News, the accident happened around 4:45 a.m. on the Tower Park Bridge on Highway 12. Due to reasons that are still under investigation, four vehicles were involved in a collision with one another. One of the vehicles was hanging off the side of the bridge when police arrived.
One person was seriously injured in the accident and had to be airlifted to a local hospital. Two other parties were treated on scene for their injuries.
Due to the severity of the collision, a portion of the road was blocked until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released at this time. Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
