August 24, 2024, Ceres, CA: Early Saturday morning, a man was tragically killed in a pedestrian accident caused by a hit-and-run driver in Ceres, California.
According to information provided by ABC10, the accident happened around 3:50 a.m. on Morgan Road close to the area of Marchy Lane. Officials arrived on scene to find that a man was struck by a vehicle and was lying on the roadway.
The pedestrian, identified only as an adult male, was tragically pronounced dead on scene due to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident fled the scene so their condition is not currently known.
California Highway Patrol continues their search for the involved vehicle and suspect. Their investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
