There is nothing more devastating and emotionally taxing for a family than losing a child to a fatal accident. Claims involving children are unique, as children are unable to bring their own personal injury claim. If you have lost a loved one, you and your family may be able to file a wrongful death claim on their behalf so that you can receive compensation for some of the following damages in your time of need:
- Funeral and burial costs
- Loss of future income
- Loss of consortium or companionship
- Pain and suffering damages
- Punitive damages
Families should never have to face the loss of a loved one alone. Having a wrongful death attorney on your side can ensure that all of your questions are answered and all deadlines are met in regards to filing.
