The pedestrian sustained critical injuries and was tragically pronounced dead on scene. Officers constructed a white tent canopy for the scene while investigating.
Due to the severity of the collision, traffic was blocked on West Florence Avenue for some time. Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
