In video from the scene, a car and a white van were seen locked together after a head-on collision in the northbound lanes. Both vehicles had suffered massive front-end damage. The white van had somehow ended up facing the wrong direction. Investigators are still determining why.
No official word on the number of injuries involved in this accident has been released. Helicopter footage did show paramedics treating at least one victim involved in the crash.
