NBC4-TV reported it happened sometime before 11 p.m. on July 6, 2023. The Orange County Sheriff’s Department was on the scene where two cars collided. In the video from the scene, one car could be observed with major front-end damage. Another vehicle had its driver’s side caved in.
Orange County Firefighters confirmed that two people in one of the vehicles tragically did not survive the impact. One person in the other car was rushed to a nearby hospital as a trauma patient. The identities of the victims have not been released.
Investigators were on the scene all night trying to determine how such a devastating accident could have occurred.
