A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle near downtown San Rafael Wednesday morning. KRON-TV reports the accident occurred at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Second Street, near the Mobile Gas Station there, on March 1, 2023.
San Rafael Police got word of the collision shortly after 7:15 a.m. The victim was found to have suffered a major injury and was rushed to the hospital. Officers shut down Lincoln Avenue between 2nd Street and 3rd Street to allow officers to investigate the scene.
Additional information on the driver involved and the cause of the accident has not been released.
