A fiery weekend crash in Granada Hills cost three people their lives and left a man injured. ABC7-TV reports the late Saturday night accident occurred around 11:59 p.m. on Ronald Reagan Freeway (118) on May 14, 2022.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said the collision occurred along the eastbound lanes just west of the 405 Freeway interchange. A white vehicle caught fire with three people inside. Those three victims were pronounced dead on the scene. Their ages and identities have not been released.
A man in the second vehicle involved, a black convertible, was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with injuries.
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragic accident.
