The Fresno Police Department says the driver of the truck was traveling southbound and was making a U-turn. A motorcyclist, also traveling southbound, then collided with the truck’s passenger side.
Fresno officers say the 20-year-old motorcyclist was found on the ground suffering from major injuries. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver involved remained on the scene to cooperate with the police. Investigators are still determining what led to the accident. They don’t believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
