A victim was killed after a traffic collision involving at least two vehicles Thursday morning in northwest Fresno. KFSN-TV reports the accident happened around 7 a.m. along Golden State Boulevard near the intersection of Ashlan Avenue on January 20, 2022.
Pictures from the scene indicate that at least two pickup trucks were involved in the collision with both sustaining frontend damage. The California Highway Patrol says the accident led to the tragic death of one person. They have not said if anyone else was injured in the impact.
Highway Patrol Officers closed both directions of Golden State Boulevard for a time while trying to determine the circumstances that led to the accident.
