Accidents Involving Drunk Drivers in Goleta CA

Traffic laws and safety campaigns work in partnership to try to keep drivers on Goleta streets safe. The effort is so important because it’s very easy for one careless motorist to make a small mistake and end up causing extreme harm to drivers and passengers in several other vehicles.

Earning Help for Victims and Families After a Goleta Accident

After a devastating DUI accident, victims can face a difficult injury recovery and families can face the grief of losing a loved one.

For families who have lost someone to a careless or reckless driver, a wrongful death lawsuit can be filed against the driver’s insurance company to seek financial support with all costs and hardships experienced after such a tragedy.

For surviving victims, an at-fault driver’s car insurance provider can be called upon to cover all medical costs during recovery. The lost time a victim misses at work should also be reimbursed.

An accident involving drunk driving will leave a suspect facing criminal charges. However, victims and their families don’t have to wait to file their civil claims to earn support. The criminal proceedings will be handled separately from the personal injury and wrongful death cases. Those cases on behalf of victims and close relatives can move forward as soon as possible.
