Dangerous Weekend Accidents In Kern County CA

Overnight travel can be treacherous around Kern County and Bakersfield. Drivers who travel while distracted can become even more of a threat at night when light conditions require even more attention to the roadway.

Safe motorists may have little warning when headlights suddenly veer into their lane or when drivers don’t take a proper look in all directions at an intersection and proceed when they shouldn’t. These common mistakes can lead to a frightening collision. Serious injuries and even the loss of precious lives can result.

Seeking Help for Victims and Their Families After Kern County Collisions

Families who have lost a loved one to a terrible accident should be guaranteed whatever time they need to heal and seek comfort. Unfortunately, they’ll have lost the emotional and financial support of a loved one and often be forced to seek support from the auto insurance provider for the at-fault driver.

Through a wrongful death claim, families can hope to gain help with the cost of a memorial service, emergency response fees, and other estate settlement costs. The loss of a family member’s income provided through employment should also factor into the support close relatives receive.

Victims still recovering from a scary collision can also seek support through a claim for damages. Insurance companies would be asked to furnish money to pay for every hospital bill a victim receives. This claim would also seek money to replace paychecks lost while a victim has been away from work.
