Accidents Involving DUI Drivers on J Street in Tulare CA

Injured by a Drunk Driver, Visalia

Intersections in Tulare can be dangerous enough with traffic coming from many directions and with not all drivers knowing when it’s their turn. The situation is even more hazardous when a reckless driver enters the scene.

There is no more reckless a decision than when someone who has consumed alcohol decides they are okay to get behind the wheel. Drunk drivers can ignore red lights, make turns in front of oncoming traffic, and even proceed the wrong way in lanes. These dangerous errors might lead to an accident that leaves innocent motorists with life-threatening injuries.

Finding Support for Families After a Tragic Tulare DUI Accident

Families will never completely recover from the emotional pain of losing a loved one. However, they should be allowed to seek justice when a family member has been taken from them by a driver’s mistake.

Close relatives can face the high costs of paying for a funeral and burial and emergency services fees. They’ll also have to find a way to cover these bills after losing the financial support a loved one may have provided through weekly income from a job.

When the drivers to blame are charged with DUI, they’ll be facing criminal charges. However, the families of deceased victims don’t have to wait on the outcome of a trial to receive support. Their civil wrongful death claim can move forward independently of any criminal proceedings.
