Two-Vehicle Collision Injures Three People in Fresno County
A vehicle crash in Fresno County, west of Fowler, sent three victims to the hospital Tuesday morning. KSFN-TV reports the accident occurred before 6 a.m. at the intersection of Chestnut Avenue and South Avenue on October 12, 2021.
The California Highway Patrol says a gray vehicle was westbound on South Avenue when the driver failed to stop for a stop sign. The gray vehicle then struck a white car in the intersection.
The gray vehicle came to rest on its side and the driver inside suffered major injuries. Two other victims in the white car suffered moderate injuries.
Investigators with the California Highway Patrol continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash. They don’t believe alcohol played a role in the accident.
